Woo… I got a new toy!

Today a parcel arrived from the good folks at SCEE… Turns out I’ve won a competition promoting Motor Storm Pacific Rift…

I knew it was coming because they rang to confirm my address, but when they said remote control car I expected something cheep with Pacific Rift written all over it… However, what turned up was far from cheep… It was a Team Losi Mini-LST2, quite an impressive little piece of kit with a £150 price tag!

This thing is really quite cool… I’ve not owned an RC before but there is quite a lot of stuff in this little machine… Like a gearbox and differentials!

Thanks Sony, it’s awesome…. And I’m sorry I don’t own a Playstation 3, but I will get one sometime, when I’ve paid off my overdraft, and bought an HD 1080P TV… Oh, and a new guitar amp… Oh, and a new gaming PC, and games, for all my current systems… Like Fallout 3, Mirrors Edge, CoD: World At War, Gear of War 2, Silent Hill 5, and of course Resident Evil 5… But as I only earn about £60 a week at the moment it may be a while!

The brief amount of time spent playing Motorstorm Pacific Rift was however most enjoyable and an excelent break during Leeds Festival 2008.
